LIFE IN A MEDIEVAL MANOR:O

The manors were run by lords. They were in charge of the land and getting knights to protect it.The lord also governed the community too. Appointed officials made sure that the villagers carried out their duties.The lord was also the judge o the court and manor too.Usually rich and poor people lived in manors too. The manors consisted o many villages. Some times soldiers fought or the king. the manors provided people with a house and home for ever.

 Since the men were usually nobles they were some times fathers,ut mostly knights.Some women worked on dairy farms.The medieval chuches thought that the women were inferior. Wives and daughters did many chores to help out.The medieval women were also employed as mainly craftsmen too. Peasant women wore simple dresses and clothes made from wool and linen. While the middle class women wore lengthy dresses.The women who weren't poor usually had long dresses. Those women also didn't work and they han maids(peasant women and girls). That is hw they lived. Also the wealthy women had alot of money to have a big house and usually a knight or king as a husband.

PEASENT CHILREN WITH JOBS OR NOT?

The girls and womens job of mending clothes.
Some peasant children some times worked in the town.They mostly worked jobs around the house or village.Peasant jobs included mostly trading skills. It was very important or kids to learn trade. The peasant girls jobs were maids,house cleaning, doing laundry,and mending clothes.The girls were taught these chores for later on in life. They wanted to make sure that the girls knew how to prepare food for their family to eat ,and nice clean clothes too.

 The younger boys jobs were not do simple their jobs included working in kitchens as turn spit which is a jobs where they have to rotate meat on scewers, and they also washed dishes. The older boys did jobs like planting and harvesting crops. They also plowed and cared for plow animals which included: horses,and oxen(male).They also repaired tools too. Some older boys were blacksmiths and made knifes, horse shoes, and farming tools.
